In this pragmatic session, participants will learn about Kolb’s Theory of Experiential Learning, how it can be used as a tool to increase retention of important course concepts, and will begin implementing Kolb’s theory. Presenter: Adam Barragato- Purdue University Adam taught in the Communication Department at Central Michigan University (CMU) where he earned a Teaching Excellence Award, the highest teaching honor at CMU. He is currently an instructional designer at Purdue University, working closely with faculty to implement educational tools and design courses to create significant learning experiences for all students.
